To be a steadfast person you need to be a born again Christian, living in a world that is dominated by Satan and his demonic hosts. These evil beings are full of lies and deceptions that craftily keep non believers in the grip of darkness and without the knowledge and wisdom of the true Lord and Saviour of mankind, Jesus Christ, the righteous Son of God the Father. Once you become a Christian through repentance of your sins and the genuine acceptance of Jesus Christ, as your personal Lord and Saviour, as well as the recreation of your spirit, you become a person who is able to remain steadfast. When you repent the Holy Spirit recreates your spirit, to be like God. Only through a daily dedicated devotion to God's ways through the direction of the Holy Spirit, can a person remain steadfast and true to God's will and purposes for their life.

Be Steadfast in God's Word We learn that the early church members were steadfast in their study and their application of God's word, the Holy Bible. We must also, as God's children today, be consistent in our study and obedience to God's word. We learn about their steadfast application from Acts chapter 2 verse 42. God's people followed the instructions of God's appointed leaders rather then doing their own whims and fancies. They were further strengthened through the bond of prayer, sharing meals together and daily being a part of God's family of born again believers. At that time the New Testament was being written, through the unction of the Holy Spirit upon God's chosen apostles
