God's Signs of Time. When God created the earth, in His six days of creation, we read in Genesis chapter 1 verses 14 and 15 that on the fourth day of creation, He created the lights; the sun and it's moon, the planets and the galaxies of stars, in the heavens above planet Earth. They were to be signs to separate the days and the years and the seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter. For the planet earth our sun would give us light and warmth during the day and our moon and the galaxies of stars, would supply light for our night. These celestial creations would rule over mankind's time on earth and they have done so for almost six thousand years, already.

The Sign of Jesus' Birth . More than 700 years before the birth of Jesus, in Bethlehem, God gave to mankind the sign to Israel, through His prophet, Isaiah. We read about this sign in Isaiah chapter 7 verses 14 and 15. This was such a spectacular sign that only God could perform. A virgin or unmarried woman would bare a son and she would call His name Immanuel, which translates as 'God with us'. This divine child would know enough, at a young age, to refuse evil and choose good. As a male child He would be both man and God and would fulfil the promise of the Messiah.
