The Compassionate Heart of Jesus. Jesus and His compassionate heart is further recorded in Matthew chapter 15 verse 32. The multitude had come to Jesus for healing. What marvellous miracles were occurring from the hands of Jesus. The dumb spoke; the maimed were made whole; the lame walked and the blind could now see. Jesus had compassion on their daily needs; in this case, their hunger. These people had been listening to Jesus but had not eaten for three days. He did not send them away hungry lest they became faint on the way home. His compassion became very practical and He fed them from God's miracle provision of seven loaves and a few little fish. How much true food for salvation and for healing needs to be fed to a hungry church congregation, today. Jesus can miraculously feed his flock, through revelation knowledge, from His mighty storehouse, the word of God.

Episode Notes

We Must Practise Mercy God shows His people, through His word, the Holy Bible, what He desires of them. We learn this from Micah chapter 6 verse 8. God has shown His people what is good and what God desires them to do and how they are to live. They are to be people who love justice and practise it in their daily lives and pray that the laws of the land reflect the heart of God's people. They must love mercy and practise mercy and care for others as well as themselves. God's people are also willing to walk, humbly, before God and accept His word as the foundation for their lives.
