The New Testament Covenant - God's amazing New Testament covenant is between God the Father and His born again blood bought children. This covenant supersedes all previous covenants, that God made with mankind. It is far more embracing than God's previous covenants with Noah, after the flood; with Abraham and his descendants and with Moses and the children of Israel. This was a new covenant with each individual person who repents and is baptised as an everlasting child of God, by the Holy Spirit, into the true church, the body of Christ. It far surpasses in grandeur and extent God's previous covenants with mankind. This covenant secures everlasting relationship, through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, between God the Father and His recreated Spirit filled children.

The Better Covenant We read about and learn about our new and better covenant from Hebrews chapter 8 verse 6. Christ's ministry to His born again children is more excellent than the old Levitical priesthood, established by Moses, with its obligations and rituals. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the mediator of the new covenant, that unites God with mankind. Why is it better? The new covenant is enacted and rests upon better promises. These promises are from God Himself and are not dependant upon man's actions but rather on man's response and acceptance by faith, that God will do what He has promised.
