God’s profound Love - Romans 8:26-39

The book of Romans is more than a theological explanation of God’s redeeming grace; it is a letter of comfort and confidence addressed to us. We learn there that God overcomes the powers of sin and death through God’s self-giving love. 38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Let us always remember, that nothing can ever separate us from the love of God and while we can be confident of our salvation, we still look ahead with hope and trust toward that complete change of body and personality that lies beyond this life, when we will be like Christ.
