In Week 3 of our Lenten series “Sent Forth,” we explore what it means to be blessed with tears to shed. Rather than ignoring sadness, grief, or suffering, we consider how these experiences can deepen our compassion and connection with others. Looking at the story of Jesus weeping with Mary and Martha, we reflect on how true compassion grows from acknowledging our own pain and shared humanity. What if our tears are not weakness—but an invitation to walk with others in hope?
