Prayer of Surrender and Service
Gracious Father,
In this imperfect world, I come before You with a heart that longs to please You. I confess my flaws—my stubbornness, my pride, my independence that so often resists Your guidance. Yet even in my weakness, I desire to grow, to be transformed, and to walk in step with Your Spirit.
Lord, teach me to yield my will to Yours. Strip away the arrogance that blinds me, the self-reliance that keeps me distant, and the desires that distract me from Your purpose. Decrease me, so that You may increase. Let my life shine not with my own strength, but with the light of Your presence.
Make me a servant, willing to listen, willing to obey, willing to love as Christ loved. Shape my heart to reflect humility, patience, and compassion. May my actions testify not to my own striving, but to Your grace at work within me.
Guide me daily, Father, so that in every choice, every word, and every step, I honor You.
In the name of Jesus, who is my example and my Savior, Amen.
