Kijuan”The Psalmist” Impromptu rendition of Tabernacle by Karen Clark Sheard

Kijuan “The Psalmist” Williams
A heartfelt message of worship inspired by Karen Clark’s ministry. When I sing this song, originally ministered by Karen Clark on her Second Chance album, it transcends melody, lyrics, and performance. It becomes my testimony, altar, and offering. Like David declared, “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth” (Psalm 34:1). This song awakens that resolve. It reminds me of God’s presence in my lowest places, restoration, and life-giving power. It stirs gratitude for His goodness. Every note reminds me of His faithfulness—giving second chances, mercies that are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22–23). Worship through this song brings joy like the psalmist’s, “He lifted me out of the miry clay and set my feet upon a rock” (Psalm 40:2). That joy becomes my strength, as Nehemiah proclaimed. This song declares God’s presence in my life. It’s the sound of a redeemed, restored, and revived heart. It echoes a personal encounter with the One who said, “Behold, I make all things new” (Revelation 21:5). When I sing it, I release worship, tell my story, honor the God who turned mourning into dancing and clothed me with gladness (Psalm 30:11), and celebrate the Savior who gave me a second chance. In that moment, my voice becomes a vessel, my heart a sanctuary, and my worship a witness. Praise becomes the overflow of a grateful, transformed life when you truly know God for yourself.
