One Truth in Philippians 3:1—14
God longs to, desires to, raise up men and women in His church whose lives count for His glory on the landscape of human history.

Four Characteristics in Philippians 3:1—14

1,They treasure Christ above everything this world has to offer.
2, They trust in Christ to provide everything they could ever need.
3, They pursue Christ with obsessive passion.
4, They look forward to the prize of his praise.

The only treasure of the life that counts is Christ.
v. 7 But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. 8 Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ

We have found something worth losing everything for

The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field.
The kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls.

Job 19, he says, “I know that my Redeemer lives, and He will stand for me. I’ve lost it all, but I’ve got my Redeemer.”
