We are citizens of a kingdom in a country to come , “Our citizenship is in heaven, and we are waiting for a Savior from there” (Phil. 3:20). We are strangers and exiles here, seeking a homeland. We desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. We’re looking forward to the city that has foundations, whose designer and builder is God” (Heb. 11:13). The Country To Come We live between two times. God Has Broken Into The Present World The birth of Christ: The King has come! The King is coming! Our Purpose To experience the consummation of God’s kingdom. “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come!” (Matt. 6:9–10 “Whatever you eat or drink, whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Cor. 10:31) Understanding His Kingdom The King rules and reigns in the kingdom. In God’s Place: Eternal Fellowship We Will Be With Him Replaces Death With Life In Heaven The Goal Of Redemption We will see His face. We will reign with Him. God’s Glory Enjoyed By All Peoples Hear their unified song.
