We know so little about the life of Joseph, Jesus' step father, but the Word gives us insights on this wonderful man. We will talk about what it must have been like when Joseph hears Jesus state in the Temple at 12 years of age that He had not been lost, but was about His "Father's" business. It seems like Joseph was forced to suffer humiliation and job reversals, and maybe even disgrace and little appreciation for taking on the hardest job in the world, "Taking care of God's Son"! You will relate to similarities in our lives when we realize that like Joseph, God chooses us to bring Jesus, His Son into our lives and our families! Can we be as responsive and gracious as this gentle giant, Joseph was?
