Text: 2Kings 8:7-15

MESSAGE:  Evil may result when we desire things that are not meant to be at the moment.

1.  By entertaining premature ambitions

• We may harbor ambitions that may not be ripe at the moment.
• We may fantasize our ambitions and prematurely conduct our lives as if its already there.

2.  By underestimating what we may be capable of doing

• Take care of your heart for each one is capable of doing evil.
• The Lord searches the heart and examines the mind.

3.  By forcing situations that we may satisfy our desires

• Readiness not hastiness is the proper way to prepare for God’s promotion.
