Finally, after 37 chapters of back and forth, torment and questioning – God shows up and responds to Job. What we find here is likely not what we expect. God is not on trial, and He never was.

What we find at the end of Job is a God who is absolutely overwhelming. Job wants to fight God, essentially – and Job finds that He cannot fight God and win. Job doesn’t have a leg to stand on, none of us do. All anyone can do is fall on, depend on, call upon the Name of – the God who is good.
