It's time to remove the shame

After inspecting the ruined walls of Jerusalem, Nehemiah was ready to share his vision of restoration with the rest of the people. His encouragement is found in chapter 2:17 "...Come, let's rebuild the wall of Jerusalem SO THAT THIS REPROACH WILL NOT CONTINUE". The purpose of rebuilding the wall is to remove the shame and reproach. But a crucial response from the people was needed before the walls were rebuilt.
