Purpose Statement: The Prayer of Jabez is where Jabez asks God to bless him, enlarge his territory, keep his hand upon him, and protect him from harm. This brief Scripture in between names describes Jabez as more honorable than his brothers and notes that God did grant him his request. A book titled: Prayer of Jabez was written by Bruce Wilkinson.
