But how often do you look in the mirror and realize your spiritual battery is doing the exact same thing? We try so hard to power through life, career, and ministry on our own reserves. We rely on our own knowledge, our own hard work, and our own discipline—and then we wonder why we're completely burned out and running on fumes. In this week's episode of The Alter Church Podcast, Father Jon unpacks Jesus’ vital instructions to a weary church in Luke 24: Stop trying to power through in your own strength.
