The Altar Church is a Three-Streams worship community in Anderson, SC, rooted in the Anglican tradition but designed for a restless generation." Our culture tells us to mask our pain and move on. But the "Great Tradition" of the Church offers us something far more beautiful: The Gift of Holy Tears. As we continue The Common Path Message Series, we are rediscovering that Jesus wasn't a "Man of Constant Victories" or "Endless Smiles." Scripture describes Him as a Man of Sorrows (Is. 53:3), one who offered up fervent cries and tears (Heb. 5:7).
