When Faith Falls Apart: Finding Jesus Again | Anderson, SC Worship

Published May 3, 2026 6:20 PM America/Chicago Fr. Jon Aamodt AUDIO

Are you digitally connected but socially isolated? In an age of "outrage culture" and endless scrolling, many of us feel like we’re running without a finish line. This week, Father Jon dives into the rock anthem of the restless—U2’s "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For"—to explore why our modern "hacks" aren't working. Discover how the ancient rhythms of the early church—the "Four-Legged Stool" of Scripture, Tradition, Reason, and Informed Testimony—provide a grounded alternative to a rootless culture. It’s time to stop running and start rooting.

The Altar Church is a Spirit-filled, Missional, and Sacramental worship community in Anderson, SC, rooted in the Anglican tradition but designed for a restless generation.
