1. James 4:6
“God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
A reminder that humility isn’t optional—it's the doorway to grace.
2. James 4:10 “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.”
Humility positions you for God’s promotion, not man’s.
3. 1 Peter 5:5–6
“God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.”
Humility is tied to timing—God lifts you when you’re ready.
4. Philippians 2:3
“Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.”
5. Micah 6:8
“…what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?”
Humility is part of the core requirement of a godly life.

“By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches and honor and life.”
Humility isn’t weakness—it’s the path to blessing.

Humility is something you put on—a deliberate choice.
