Defining faith is vital to our spiritual walk; we must have faith to please God and to operate in His kingdom correctly.

1 Timothy 6:12, NKJV — “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.”

Physical substance is matter that has physical existence—something that occupies space and has measurable physical properties such as mass, volume, density, shape, or temperature.
Examples include:
Water
Wood
Metal
Air
Rocks
The human body
Mark 11:23-24 — Believe that you receive what you ask for in prayer, and it will be granted.
Isaiah 55:10-11 — God's Word will accomplish what He pleases and will not return to Him void.
Romans 4:20-21 — Abraham did not waver through unbelief but was fully convinced that what God promised, He was also able to perform.
John 11:40 — If you would believe, you would see the glory of God.
John 14:12 — He who believes in Christ will do the works that He does.

“By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”
1. WHAT IS FAITH?
Hebrews 11:1 — Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:6 — Without faith it is impossible to please God.
Romans 10:17 — Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
2. FAITH IN GOD AND HIS WORD
Mark 11:22–24 — Have faith in God; believe when you pray and you will receive.
Proverbs 3:5–6 — Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.
2 Corinthians 5:7 — We walk by faith, not by sight.
John 20:29 — Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.
