Ephesians was written around AD 64 from Rome were Paul was in prison. It was probably written around the same time as Colossians and Philippians. And was probably delivered to the church at Laodicea and eventually made it to Ephesus. Technically, this letter wasn’t written to the church at Ephesus but more for the church as a whole as the body of Christ. Paul’s heart was for the body of believers. No matter where Paul was, he cared deeply about how well the church was doing spiritually. This epistle is so important and key in the NT because Paul clearly teaches us about our position in Christ.
