Just like you wouldn’t eat at a place that serves spoiled food…
you shouldn’t stay in a place that serves spoiled teaching.

Biblical Scripture: Hebrews 10:25

So here’s what to look for in a Bible-based church:

1. They preach the Bible clearly. Not opinions. Not culture. Not trends. Scripture. Verse by verse, truth by truth.

2. Jesus is the center of everything. The sermons, the worship, the mission — all point back to Christ. 

3. They encourage discipleship. Not just Sunday attendance…but growth. Classes, Bible studies, groups, accountability.

4. They practice love, not legalism. Real churches welcome you. Legalistic ones judge you. Look for grace — not superiority.

5. You feel the presence of God. Sometimes, you can’t explain it…you just feel it. Peace. Conviction. Strength. Hope. That’s the Holy Spirit.

🚩 Red flags:

  • No mention of Jesus
  • Twisting scripture
  • Gossip-filled culture
  • Pastors worshiped more than Christ
  • No accountability
  • No growth
  • All emotion, no Bible
  • All hype, no holiness
