Revelation 4:1 begins with the Apostle John describing a vision he had. He sees a door standing open in heaven and hears a voice, like a trumpet, calling him to come up and witness what will happen in the future. This verse marks a significant transition in the book of Revelation, as John is about to be shown the heavenly realm and receive divine revelations about the events that will unfold. It sets the stage for the prophetic and symbolic visions that are to come in the following chapters.
