Get On The Right Ladder

Picture two ladders facing opposite directions: Yours and Jesus'. How high can you go with a foot on each ladder? The higher you go, the further apart the steps are from each other. You can't keep one foot on each and go very high, neither can you keep one foot in the world and one in the kingdom of God. You can't keep one in your old understandings and one in what God is showing you. You have to commit to one ladder or the other! Jesus calls us to come, deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him!
