What a challenging truth. All too often, we cling to the promises of God that we’ve twisted and manipulated to fit our agenda, rather than His will and way. In today’s message, Bishop Lance will remind us that the most important thing we can do in this life is to know God. You can know all about Him, memorizing Scripture and reading all the commentaries and spiritual self-help books, but if you don’t know Him, you’re missing the entire point. We’re saved into an intimate relationship, not a religion.
