During the time of Jesus, Gehenna was a filthy, maggot infested garbage dump outside of Jerusalem. Jesus referred to Gehenna as an image for Hell. With passion and clarity, Father James exhorts his listeners to fight against sin, especially sexual sin, and to always make good use of the Sacrament of Confession.
