The Foolishness of Preaching (1 Corinthians 1:18-25)

In this sermon the Apostle Paul contrasts worldly wisdom with the wisdom of God, and shows that human reasoning is incompatible with the Gospel of Jesus Christ because it deems the cross to be foolishness. However, Paul shows that God has nullified human wisdom by choosing to use that which they deem as foolish, as the means whereby His salvation is applied to His people.
