Leading from Afar - May 21, 2023 - Rev. Juan Carlos - Sermon

This week is the Feast of the Ascension when the church remembers the resurrected Jesus being lifted up to heaven to much fanfare in the eyes of the disciples. He leaves with clear instructions for all disciples, he leaves and yet the claim is that Jesus is still in charge of the mission, still head of the body called the church, still guiding, directing, and empowering all of us that respond to his call. What are we being led into? What work needs to be done?Join Pastor Juan Carlos Huertas for worship this weekend!
