An exile rises in power, the local leaders get jealous and set him up to die. In the end a lion's den is a wilderness that cannot defeat God's faithfulness and provides us an opportunity to ask: How is the wilderness we are living through helping us awaken to how God's presence and God's call for us to help the exiles around us see better days?
