Philippians 1:27-30

To have teamwork there must be a cooperative spirit rather than a competitive spirit. People have to be willing to lay aside their personal agendas to pursue a common goal.

The Prophet Amos once asked the question, “Can two walk together unless they are agreed?” That is the same concept Paul has in mind here. We must stand firm in our agreement with the essential elements of the content of our faith. Without this basic agreement, we cannot move forward together to contend for the faith.
