In John 10:22-42, during Hanukkah in Jerusalem, religious leaders press Jesus to plainly state if He is the Messiah. Jesus declares He is one with the Father, prompting them to attempt to stone Him for blasphemy. He then retreats across the Jordan, where many believe in Him.
