This week, James and John completely miss the mark when they ask Jesus to sit beside him in his glory. But don’t we also ask Jesus for what we want in life and expect him to deliver? What if following Jesus offers us no rewards, glory, or success? Is simply following Jesus for the sake of following Jesus enough for us?
