Psalm 1 is an invitation to discover the blessedness that awaits those who desire to delight in the Word of God. The person who wants to pursue blessedness will not walk in the counsel of the wicked, stand in the way of sinners, or sit in the seat of scoffers. On the contrary, the pursuit of blessedness begins and ends with delighting in the law of the LORD.
