In the spiritual realms, there are laws and binding contracts. When we were trapped in such a contract, How could God who is just, get us out of it? There was only one way. Death. That's why He sent Jesus to make the biggest trade ever. The trade was not with satan, it was with us. He took our sin, died and rose again to free us by giving us a new life.
