Purpose Statement: Why the town? Why a virgin Mary? Did Mary expect that she would be the mother of the Messiah? What Mary thought engaged to Joseph and being pregnant? Why was Mary favored? Nobody ever saw angels. When Mary did she was troubled and afraid. What did the angel mean when greeting her? “Do not be afraid since you are favored.” What was Mary’s response? Jesus, the Messiah his name will mean “Jesus saves!” He will save people from their sins. Who will be this child?
