Job

March 16, 2026
Pastor Brett Cooper

This is a teaching that explores the heart of the Book of Job and the timeless lessons it offers for faith in difficult seasons. As part of our Bridge to Credibility series follow-up, this 35-minute lesson will focus on the major themes of Job and how faithful people learn to trust God even when life doesn’t make sense. Job’s story reminds us that faith is not proven when life is easy—it is revealed when we continue trusting God in the middle of hardship.

Episode Notes

We’ll also look at what the Apostle Philip would have already understood about Job through his Jewish upbringing in the Scriptures. Long before Philip heard Jesus say, “Follow Me,” he had learned through Job that suffering does not mean God has abandoned His people. This background helps us better understand why the message of Jesus was so powerful and credible to those who already knew the story of Job and the hope for a mediator between God and humanity.

If you want to deepen your understanding of Scripture and see how the Old Testament prepares the way for Christ, this lesson will encourage and strengthen your faith. Whether you can join us in person or simply want to grow in your knowledge of God’s Word, this midday study will be a meaningful time of learning, reflection, and encouragement. We would love for you to be part of it this Wednesday at noon at Grace Chapel.
