Where do we go from here ?" There may be much we need to let go of, but just because I cannot fully explain something, that doesn't mean it is not real. If a six year old child does not fully understand the doings and decisions of their rocket scientist father, can they not still know and experience their father's love for them? Wouldn't it make sense that a finite human being like me could never fully understand or explain their very real relationship with an infinite God ?

You find yourself circling the same memories or ideas over and over again.
Sometimes the thing that keeps us stuck is forgiveness. Either we are unable or unwilling to forgive someone, or we are unable or unwilling to ask forgiveness, to apologize for something we have done. Today we look at the teachings of Jesus as He gives us a reason and way to forgive that goes way beyond what is offered by our culture.

The message this morning draws heavily upon the work of Haydn Shaw and his book "Sticking Points - how to get 5 generations working together"

To watch the video referenced in the sermon go here: https://www.cnn.com/2015/06/22/world/kim-phuc-where-is-she-now/index.html You can see the video of this sermon at https://levpres.org/questions-that-need-answering/

Even the healthiest tree planted in the richest soil will wither if exposed to Acid Rain long enough. For many years we have been exposed to the acid rain of secular myths that attempt to discredit the foundations of the Christian faith. But do these criticisms match the actual data ? In this eight part message series we draw from the work of a number of recent scholars who show us a historical and sociological view of Christianity that can reignite wonder and confidence for the modern follower of Jesus, and cause others to consider it for the first time. What if it turns out that Christianity is even better than we think it is ? To watch or listen to the entire series, go to https://levpres.org/questions-that-need-answering/]]></itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary><![CDATA[The New York Times called Jordan Peterson “The most influential public intellectual in the Western World right now.”
He is despised by both the far Left and the far Right, but he genuinely seems to be trying to understand what is real in this world. Whether you are an atheist, a skeptic, or a dedicated follower of Jesus, we hope this message series will challenge and inspire you. It looks at the places where Peterson’s latest book illustrates and fleshes out the ancient wisdom of the Scriptures and applies it to our current day. And yes, we are going to talk a lot about Jesus. You can see the entire series and find additional resources at https://levpres.org/beyond-order-and-chaos/]]></itunes:summary>
