A new month gives us an opportunity to pause, take a breath, and look ahead. We don't know everything October will bring. There may be beautiful moments, unexpected challenges, new opportunities, or situations we simply cannot see coming yet.
But as we begin this new month, there is one thing we can be certain of:
God goes before you.
You don't have to walk into this new month alone.
You don't have to know every step.

Today is October 1st, the beginning of a brand-new month.
And you don't have to have all the answers.
God is already there.
So today, let's begin October by placing this new month into God's hands and reminding ourselves of the promise found in His Word.

There is something powerful about a new song.
A new song can come from a new season, a new testimony, a new experience of God's faithfulness, or simply from seeing something about God that we had never noticed before.
And sometimes, a new song is born out of a difficult season.

And in the middle of all that noise and laughter, there's one person sitting off in the corner. Nobody's talking to her. Nobody notices she came in, and nobody would notice if she quietly slipped out. She's surrounded by family, and she has never felt more invisible in her life. Now picture somebody spotting her from across the room. They don't just wave. They walk all the way over, sit down beside her, look her in the eyes, and say her name. And in that moment something shifts inside her. She's not invisible anymore. Somebody saw her.

Now, that's not a real story, I made it up. But I told it because that ache of feeling unseen is one of the most common wounds human beings carry. The floor is cold, the future is uncertain, and by every earthly measure this is a man who has every right to lie awake at night eaten alive by worry.
